With a PhD in Entomology and more than a decade of hands-on experience in applied pest management, pollinator ecology, and stored-product research, I bring a scientist’s rigor to every proposal, report, and research program I touch. In recent years I’ve focused much of my work on research administration and grant strategy, helping teams secure more than $30 million in competitive funding from agencies including NIH, NSF, USDA, DOE, and ARPA-H.

- Grant Strategy & Proposal Development: Led proposal development for universities, startups, and research organizations, translating science into fundable, sponsor-aligned narratives.
- Scientific Writing & Communication Developing clear, sponsor-facing technical documents and narratives for large, multidisciplinary research initiatives, and sharing insights through my newsletter, Science for Sustainable Impact.
- Teaching & Mentorship: Adjunct Professor at Unity Environmental University, teaching eco-literacy, climate-smart agriculture, and integrated pest management.
